PLC Light School is here to make career education more accessible for Detroit residents, offering FREE evening classes designed to help you explore and kickstart a new career path. As an extension of PLC, Light School focuses on cultural careers, providing hands-on learning experiences that lead to tangible results upon completion.
*Participation in the Masterclass does not guarantee eligibility or acceptance for any internships or apprenticeships. PLC Detroit, Stockx, & the Detroit Pistons reserve the right to offer any internship at their sole and absolute discretion.

Class Date: January 27 – March 13
- 2-days (Monday & Thursday) a week
- 3 hours
- 5:30 – 8:30pm

This program was designed to make career education more accessible to local talent. With no tuition costs, students can focus fully on their education and skill development.
Please note that housing is not provided as the program is intended for residents of the local community.
Eligibility:
- HS Graduate, Must be 18 years or older. No Age Cap.
- Must be a Metro Detroit Resident
- Must be available to attend the entire in-person session
- Must complete the full application and submission requirement
